"Eating is a civic act"

Alain Ducasse considers cooking to be a responsible act, and has made eating well a central part of his commitment to respecting nature and those who cultivate it, while at the same time addressing the major issues of our time.
Transmission is the second great quest of his life. The chef has paved the way by identifying great talent. Today, these talents express themselves within a Maison, by sharing a common vision, crossed with the expression of the identity of each chef and each employee.

In our company, commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has always been present, although it has not been formalized for many years.

Under Alain Ducasse’s leadership, we have put in place a number of initiatives reflecting our commitment to CSR:

A deeply inclusive social policy, supporting up-and-coming men and women through various training programs and projects. We also maintain partnerships with institutions such as the Campus de Meudon, offering practical internships in our restaurants and thus contributing to the training of young talent.

Our commitment to employment and training is reflected in our signature of the Pacte pour l’emploi (Employment Pact), a partnership with the Ile-de-France region for a program aimed at people who are far from employment.

This intensive program, which includes 6 months’ practical training and 3 months’ internship in the Parisian restaurants of Chef Alain Ducasse, will enable these young up-and-coming chefs to blossom in a new career path.
